Lauren has been teaching since 2007 and is an established teacher and award winning choreographer in the Greater Vancouver area in a variety of different styles including AcroDance, Jazz/Lyrical, Hip Hop/Jazz Funk, and Contemporary. She is a certified AcroDance instructor with Acrobatic Arts as well as an AcroDance Adjudicator certified with the Acro Dance Teachers Association. She also holds certifications with Alixa Flexibility, Sugar Foot Therapy and is a proud member of YPAD.  Lauren is also an adjudicator within Canada and hopes to be able to explore this avenue further.

Lauren is an alumni of Kill the Lights Co., a hip hop dance training company based out of Harbour Dance Centre, and has danced in various and multiple shows around the Vancouver area. She has also danced for companies like Sonic Nation Radio and Kia, and for artists such as Brian McKnight, Michael Buble, Charlotte Fischer, Lowkita, Jackie Valentine, and Laurell.

Lauren believes that a teacher should never stop being a student. She continues to train when she can in Vancouver and Los Angeles and frequents workshops, conferences, and certifications to further her education. Lauren has a passion for teaching and thrives on watching her students grow. She hopes that she can pass along her love of this art to inspire others to be not only the best artist but also the best person they can be.
